Sweet, raisiny wine followed by honey, vanilla, and butterscotch. I'm picking up some kind of dusty note as well, for lack of a better description. I can't place what it is, but I don't really mind it either.

Rich and full of flavor. I get juicy cherries and apple pie, followed by butterscotch and honey with almost a cream-like vibe. Waves of toffee come through as the flavors evolve toward the finish. The higher proof makes itself known, but it's still rather smooth despite it.

Finish
This lingers, with sweet grenadine and toffee flavors shifting to oak and spice as it slowly fades. This one stays with you for a while.

Everyday stuff. It's definitely good, but not quite great. Well worth having on your shelf.

It's fine. We wouldn't seek it out, but if offered a dram we wouldn't turn it down.

Meh. It's not to our liking, but we could see how others might enjoy it.

It's bad. There's maybe one "ok" quality to it, but not enough to offset everything else.

Undrinkable. Something went very wrong here. Pass us the Malort instead.
