Tasting Notes

Bruichladdich comes out of the gate strong with their "entry level" offering. It may come as a surprise that this Islay whisky is unpeated, with sweet, fruit flavors and floral notes in place of the peat you may be expecting. It's really a quite pleasant combination. And for the price, it's a rather approachable whisky to add to your collection or give as a gift.

Finish

A smooth finish with green apple notes that linger. If anything, the proof is most notable here, but even then it's not overbearing.
