It's nice - I like it overall. The influence from the Pinot cask is there, but light. Pinot's are typically a lighter wine, though, so that makes sense. Not necessarily my favorite from this undisclosed distiller, but a pleasant dram all around.

Nose
There's a bit of harshness on the nose at first, but give it a minute and it opens up nicely into a bouquet of berries.

Finish
A nice, long finish. Notably more dry than the sweetness I get on the palate.

Everyday stuff. It's definitely good, but not quite great. Well worth having on your shelf.

It's fine. We wouldn't seek it out, but if offered a dram we wouldn't turn it down.

It's bad. There's maybe one "ok" quality to it, but not enough to offset everything else.

Undrinkable. Something went very wrong here. Pass us the Malort instead.
